The Institute for Small Business and Entrepreneurship (ISBE) Research and Knowledge Exchange (RAKE) fund has called for the submission of research proposals to consider the question of addressing sustainability in entrepreneurship.
Collaborative bids are being sought from researchers, academics, consultants and practitioners who will explore ways of encouraging sustainable entrepreneurship within small and medium-sized communities.
Sustainable entrepreneurship focuses on the preservation of communities and the environment in the pursuit of opportunities to develop products and services with both economic and non-economic benefits to the economy, society and individuals.
The initial round of funding will provide four grants of £5,000 each and the closing date for applications is 31 August 2016.
